Overview
Ever suffered from the green-eyed monster when watching Grand Designs? Then this is the place for you! Live the dream, if only for a few days, at his stunning house built by architect Roderick James and Carpenter Oak Buildings – both of Grand Designs fame. Its impressive combination of double-height ceilings, huge cathedral-style windows and beautiful oak frame give it a feeling of calm and tranquillity.
This is especially true in the stunning 'Zen' swimming pool, which, as well as being incredibly beautiful in itself, enjoys breathtaking rural views by day and is beautifully lit so that a post-dusk swim has a wonderful meditational effect. The house can sleep up to 11 (max. eight adults) in six bedrooms spread over two floors.
The Zen suite takes up most of the ground floor and comprises a large master bedroom with en suite and sitting areas, a second double room, a twin bedroom, shower room, bathroom and spa treatment room.
The Aqua suite has a large master bedroom with direct access to the swimming pool and a second floor en suite bathroom and dressing area. The rest of the suite comprises of a children’s twin bunk room with access to the “secret” attic playroom, a cabin single and a shower room.
